Prospective Students
The language of instruction at the "Vasile Alecsandri" University of Bacau is Romanian.
The prospective students from the EU countries can apply directly to our University.
Non-EU citizens can apply for an academic degree and/or the preparatory year of Romanian language via the Romanian Ministry of Education, Research and Innovation (www.edu.ro).
The tuition fees:
- Students from the EU countries pay the same tuition fees as the Romanian students.
- Non-EU students pay:
o 220 euro/month for the Romanian language preparatory year;
o 270 euro/month for the undergraduate studies;
o 290 euro/month for the postgraduate studies (master or doctoral studies).
The fees are established by the Ministry and do not include the costs of living in Romania.
